Everyone has an opinion concerning the world around them, or a worldview, which they use to interpret reality. This course will look at some prevalent beliefs of a non-Christian worldview.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
A worldview is simply a set of beliefs and assumptions that a person uses to determine what is real and true. In this course we will examine relativism, which is the belief that all truth is relative and there is no right or wrong, and will compare it to what the Bible says about truth. We’ll consider the beliefs of the New Age Movement, where individuals believe they can create their own reality, as well as the concept of reincarnation, a view held in several religions.
